Diving in the upper Delaware River can be a rewarding experience for advanced divers in the early spring with proper thermal protection. Numerous bottles and items have been lost by hunters, boaters, swimmers, and canoeists, making worthwhile drift dives. Locations and entree areas to be determined. 

SCUBA diving, and snorkeling are allowed anywhere on the Delaware River within the boundaries of the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River except in access areas owned by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (boat ramp areas). There are no designated swimming beaches.
